Here at AllieMay Design, we believe that if there's gotta be an Internet, it might as well be a nice place to hang out. Easy on the eyes, less complicated than, say, ordering an espresso drink, and relatively stress-free. Who wants to visit a website that replicates the loud, pushy, soul-sucking experience that comprises most modern media? To that end, we work with you to define your needs — informational, commercial and aesthetic — and come up with a site that is easy-to-use and effective.

We specialize in small, intimate websites that are created an eye to usability, clean code, attractive design and simple architecture. But if you need a shopping cart, video or Flash content, database-driven pages, RSS feeds, or other interactivity, we can deliver it.

Since many of our clients are musicians and artists, we are also happy to be able to create print designs for CD packaging or other promotions with a minimum of fuss. As with our websites, we take our design cues from the individual sensibility of each client.

And since AllieMay cannot live by pixels alone, we've included in our portfolio some stuff that illustrates our fascination with the tactile world: pre-industrial crafts, costumes and textiles, eccentric little thingies.
